Silki x Aramex “Spot the Vehicle” Competition Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to the Silki x Aramex “Spot the Vehicle” competition (“Competition”). Participation in the Competition constitutes acceptance of and agreement to be bound by these T&Cs.

1. Eligibility

The Competition is open to residents of Cape Town, South Africa, aged 18 years or older.

No purchase is required to enter.

Employees of Silki, Aramex, their affiliates, partners, agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

2. Competition Period

The Competition runs from 1 April to 14 April, inclusive.

Each competition day runs from 00:00 to 23:59 SAST.

One (1) winner will be selected per day.

Entries submitted outside of the relevant daily entry period will not be considered.

3. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

Spot the Silki x Aramex branded vehicle within Cape Town.
Film an original video of the vehicle.
Post the video to their public Instagram or TikTok feed.
Tag @feelsilki.
Include the hashtag #silkixaramex.

Each qualifying post counts as one entry.

Multiple entries are permitted; however:

Each entry must be a new and original video
Reposting the same sighting or footage will not be considered a new entry

Entries must comply with Instagram and TikTok community guidelines.

4. Winner Selection

A total of 14 winners will be selected (one per day).

Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received within each respective day.

As there is only one branded vehicle in operation, participants acknowledge that:

Sightings may vary in frequency and location
Silki and Aramex do not guarantee equal opportunity to spot the vehicle

Silki reserves the right to disqualify entries that:

Do not meet entry requirements
Are duplicate, misleading, or staged
Contain unsafe, illegal, or inappropriate content
Infringe on third-party rights

5. Prize

Each winner will receive a R500 Silki voucher.

Total prize pool: R7,000 (14 x R500 vouchers).

Vouchers:

Have no expiry date
Are non-transferable and non-exchangeable
Cannot be redeemed for cash

Silki reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

6. Winner Notification & Prize Claim

Winners will be notified via direct message on the platform where the entry was posted.

Winners must respond within 7 days to claim their prize. Failure to respond may result in forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner.

7. Content & Usage Rights

By entering, participants grant Silki and Aramex a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, and distribute submitted content for marketing and promotional purposes across owned channels.

Participants confirm that:

Their submission is original
They have the right to share the content
The content does not infringe on any third-party rights, including privacy rights

8. Safety & Conduct

Participants must not engage in unsafe or unlawful behaviour when capturing content.

This includes (but is not limited to):

Filming while driving
Running into traffic or obstructing roads
Endangering themselves, the public, or the driver

Any content deemed unsafe or irresponsible will be disqualified.

9. Limitation of Liability

Silki and Aramex are not responsible for:

Lost, late, incomplete, or corrupted entries
Technical issues, platform outages, or connectivity failures
Inability to locate or access the branded vehicle
Any injury, loss, or damage incurred as a result of participation

Participation is at the entrant’s own risk.

10. Platform Disclaimer

This Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram or TikTok.

Participants release these platforms from any liability related to this Competition.

11. Costs & Taxes

Any costs or taxes associated with the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

12. General

Silki reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition at any time without prior notice.

Personal data will be processed in accordance with Silki’s Privacy Policy and will not be shared without consent, except where necessary for prize fulfilment.

These T&Cs are governed by the laws of South Africa.
