Position: Junior Graphic Designer
Location: Maitland, Cape Town

Overview:
We seek a team player who works well under pressure and overall enjoys the creative process. Time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines is of utmost importance. This position will be responsible for designing graphic material and creating engaging and appealing content for
social media platforms, such as Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Web Banners Packaging Design.

Remuneration is market related.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:
● Create vibrant, eye-catching content for both brands Kheper and Silki
● Apply design thinking to drive products
● Assist with styling during photo and video shoots
● Immerse themselves in both brands Kheper and Silki
● Be fully present and bring ideas to the brands
● Campaign artwork including that for promotions

Desired Experience & Requirements:
● 1-2 Years‘ experience within a similar role
●Tertiary qualification in digital marketing / graphic design
●Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles
●Understand digital and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
●Knowledge of Canva and Adobe suites is an advantage
●Excellent written and verbal communication skills
●Basic photography and editing skills
●Packaging design advantageous
●Portfolio submission of past work
